Bishkek

A pleasant, green city the name of which I totally ignored before the trip, Bishkek (formerly Funze, until 1992) probably deserves more credit than it gets.
The huge avenues, the enormous post Soviet places, the huge culinary scene made my last days of this trip particularly pleasant and relaxing. You can spend all your free time on and around Victory square, watching the locals during their evening stroll.
